The national telecommunications regulator has formally confirmed the full enforcement of several key provisions introduced under its updated Type Approval Regulations and the recently issued implementation Decision.
According to the regulator, three areas are now subject to strict and systematic application. These include sample submission requirements—particularly for terminal devices that require physical evaluation—clear demonstration of data protection and information security obligations, and compliance with mandatory type-approval labeling rules.
The regulator clarified that these requirements apply uniformly to both new type approval applications and those already under review. As a result, all applicants are required to align their submissions with the updated regulatory framework to ensure continued compliance. |
