The CAK has reinforced its requirement for physical sample submission in all Type Approval applications for telecom and radio equipment.
Applications without a sample are now being strictly rejected, even though this requirement has always existed in the official process. The rule applies to all equipment categories, including large devices such as network switches and TVs, with any exceptions handled case by case.
The authority clarified that this is not a new regulation, but a stricter enforcement of an existing rule. Manufacturers and importers are advised to ensure physical samples are included with submissions to avoid delays or rejection. |
