The Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) of Qatar, in partnership with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), has launched the Digital Innovation Profile (DIP) initiative. This project aims to evaluate Qatar’s digital innovation ecosystem, providing critical insights to shape strategies and national policies that will drive the country’s digital transformation. The DIP involves a thorough assessment of Qatar’s innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities. It began with stakeholder interviews and will continue with co-creation workshops on August 27-28, 2024. These workshops will identify strengths, address gaps, and develop recommendations to advance Qatar’s digital economy. Eng. Hussain Abdulla Salatt from CRA highlighted the importance of the DIP in enhancing Qatar’s global ICT competitiveness and aligning with national visions such as Qatar National Vision 2030. The findings from this initiative are expected to guide future policies and help Qatar stay at the forefront of digital innovation. For more information kindly click here: Official Announcement |
