The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi) has issued KEPMEN KOMDIGI No. 569 Tahun 2025 on 19 December 2025, introducing updated technical requirements for LTE and 5G (IMT) devices operating in Indonesia. The regulation replaces the previous KM No. 352/2024 and aligns certification rules with the country’s latest spectrum management framework.
The new regulation sets updated technical specifications for LTE and 5G New Radio equipment, including requirements related to emission limits and frequency stability.
Devices supporting the b41 (LTE) and n41 (5G) frequency bands that are already certified will be required to undergo re-certification under the new standard starting 19 January 2026.
Manufacturers with existing certificates for products operating on these bands must conduct updated testing and submit revised certification applications to maintain compliance and market access in Indonesia. |
