The Ministry of Communication and Digital (KOMDIGI) of Indonesia officially announced on 23 April 2026 the launch of the selection process for users of the 700 MHz and 2.6 GHz mobile communication spectrum bands.
The spectrum allocation initiative aims to support the expansion and deployment of advanced mobile broadband services, including 4G and 5G networks, across Indonesia.
The frequency ranges available under the selection process are:
700 MHz Band: Uplink 703–738 MHz and Downlink 758–793 MHz
2.6 GHz Band: 2500–2690 MHz
The release of these spectrum bands is expected to enhance network capacity, improve coverage, and accelerate the development of Indonesia’s digital infrastructure, supporting the growing demand for high-speed mobile connectivity and next-generation telecommunications services. |
