Due to the political situation in Yemen, radio product type approval is handled by two separate authorities—MTIT in Sana’a and MTIT in Aden. Certification is currently mandatory in Sana’a, while enforcement in Aden is expected soon, although compliance is not yet fully mandatory there. The same regulatory framework applies across both regions.
