Samples mandatory for ARTCI Type Approval

ARTCI, the Authority has requested strict adherence to the regulatory guidelines for Type Approval. Under Article 9 of the ARTCI Regulations, it is mandatory to provide a normal sample for any new request for approval or renewal of an expired certificate.

This is not a change in regulation, but a strict enforcement of the current regulation due to the result of a state audit on the management of state-owned enterprises, including the telecommunication authority ARTCI  new administration team

Ivory Coast Now Requires Approval for Radar Systems

Ivorian Radio Frequency Management Agency (AIGF), Ivory Coast published an official letter notifying about the authorization granted to the Ivory Coast-Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (ARTCI) concerning radar systems approval.

            Thus, the ARTCI is now able to carry out conformity assessment procedures and issue type approval certificates for radar systems operating on the 76-77 GHz frequency band and intended to be used in vehicles as a collision warning system.
