NCA Honored with Three ISO Certifications
The National Communications Authority (NCA) has achieved a significant milestone by earning three international ISO certifications: ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management, ISO 27001:2022 for Information Security, and ISO 27701:2019 for Privacy Information Management. The achievement was celebrated at a ceremony attended by various stakeholders, including government officials and representatives from various sectors. NCA Director General Mustafa Yasin Sheikh emphasized that these certifications reflect the Authority’s commitment to high standards and will enhance stakeholder confidence. Minister of Communications and Technology Mohamed Adan Mo’allim Ali praised the NCA for this accomplishment, noting its importance in advancing regulatory practices in Somalia. New Type Approval Guidelines
The National Communications Authority (NCA), the type approval authority in Somalia, has issued type approval guidelines and considers approval mandatory for radio and telecommunications terminal equipment entering Somalia. Approve-IT has established a service for Somalia and is currently offering NCA type approval services. Please contact your Approve-IT project manager for a quote and confirmation of the requirements
