The Turkish authority suspended type approval applications. Now the product must have a CE mark that shows compliance to the RED Directive, relevant technical file, user manual in Turkish, and product labeling according to the Consumer Protection Law of the Ministry of Trade to get access to the market of Turkey.

Bilgi Teknolojileri ve İletişim Kurumu (BTK) in Turkey has formally announced the acceptance of the Radio Equipment Directive (RED).  BTK Type Approval is no longer necessary, assuming the product is compliant to the RED and a Turkish user manual and technical documentation are held locally per the RED requirements.
